1st meeting in Bucharest From the 12th to the 13th October 2021, CORTTEX had its first transnational project meeting at the University of Bucharest in Romania. The meeting gathered 6 partners from Greece, Belgium, and Romania to look at the status of the project, and progress is going well with all partners contributing effectively.

At the meeting, partners looked at five elements of the project:

  1. The needs analysis: On the comprehensive perspective on several aspects regarding the education and interaction with students with LD: attitude and knowledge about learning difficulties, concerns about teaching students with LD, integrated curriculum use, methods of teaching Mathematics, Reading, Writing, and Spelling, methods for identifying students with LD and assessing their cognitive skills, management of challenging behaviors, parent-teacher relationship, methods of enhancing empathy in children with LD, and education quality.
  2. The educational curriculum: Development of the main aspects of the educational curriculum regarding the findings of need analysis phase.
  3. The educational material: Organization of the development of the educational material on subjects regarding the education and interaction with students with Learning Difficulties.
  4. The e-learning applications: Formative evaluation of the 4 e-Learning applications in English based on the educational material; Specification of the main components of the distance learning platform (LMS) that will enable users to; register to the platform, attend courses, certify their knowledge, and obtain relevant certification.
  5. Dissemination of the project: Specification of the dissemination actions that have to be undertaken by the partners.
